Costs for Off-Site Disposal of Nonhazardous Oil Field Wastes: Salt Caverns versus Other Disposal Methods

This report describes the costs of cavern disposal and compares them to the costs of other more conventional oil field waste disposal methods. The report is one of a series of four important baseline studies on waste disposal in caverns. This report contained the most complete database of information on commercial waste disposal companies publicly available until Argonne released an updated database in September 2006.
