Environmental Policy Analysis Section
The Environmental Policy Analysis Section within the Argonne National Laboratory's Environmental Science Division integrates science, engineering, and law in analyses that support development and implementation of environmental policy by Federal agencies. These analyses are firmly rooted in the Section's expertise in hazardous and mixed waste regulation and field management, environmental assessments and monitoring, energy systems and their environmental impacts, and development of environmental decision making tools.
Due to their experience and training, Section personnel are uniquely adept at linking field realities with well conceived programmatic responses. Section staff have prepared guidance and training materials on environmental restoration, assessments of field impacts of environmental regulations and Federal decisions, and decision processes for re-use and transfer of Federal property.
